Diane Scott joins Kew Bridge cycling protest

7 May 2017

Diane Scott, our general election candidate for Brentford and Isleworth, joined Hounslow Cycling activists on a wet Bank Holiday Monday afternoon on 1st May, 2017, to encourage action to make Kew Bridge junction more cycle friendly.

Diane said "Kew Bridge Junction is a key part in the CS9 (Cycle Superhighway) plan. If we don't get Kew Bridge Junction sorted then CS9 won't work.

I am particularly concerned that riders heading out of Brentford and needing to turn right or go straight on get no protection from vehicles turning left.  We need more action to make  London more cycle friendly so that people want to use their bikes and leave their cars at home.  Thanks to Hounslow Cycling for organising this demo.
