Freya

Freya says: “As a local resident with a young family, I am invested in creating a better community now and for the future. To me the Green Party stands for environmental and social justice, demanding the change that I want to see in our policies and laws.”

“I have been actively campaigning for environmental issues since childhood; winning an award for setting up an environment group at school, to organising an ethical careers fayre at university and currently leading the sustainability evolution at work as we develop solutions for net zero construction. My actions demonstrate how important the climate emergency and our necessary urgent response are to me.”

“I am a civil engineer with a PhD in slope stability and I currently design building foundations and infrastructure. I use my technical knowledge and experience to inform Hounslow Green Party responses to local developments, council policies and plans. “

“I have volunteered with youth groups for more than 20 years, enriching the children’s lives with activities and residentials that promote self-confidence and independence whilst also encouraging them to be an active part of their local community.”

“We need more engineers, women and informed environmental voices in Parliament to make our democracy stronger.  As a Green party MP for Brentford and Isleworth, I will bring a unique voice to the House of Commons.”
